FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The range can vary significantly based on the bike's motor power, battery capacity, rider weight, terrain, and the level of pedal assist used. On average, most of our e-bikes offer a range of 30 to 80 miles on a single charge. For specific models, you can check the product page where we list the tested range under ideal conditions. Remember, using a lower assist level on flat ground will always maximize your distance.
Charging is simple and convenient. A completely depleted battery typically takes between 3 to 6 hours to reach a full charge using the standard charger provided. For a partial charge (e.g., from 20% to 80%), it can be much faster. You can charge the battery while it's mounted on the bike or easily remove it to charge indoors at your desk or in your home.
In most regions, our e-bikes are classified as "pedal-assist" or "Class 1/Class 2" e-bikes, which are regulated just like a regular bicycle. You do not need a license, insurance, or registration to ride one. They are legal to use on bike paths and trails where traditional bicycles are allowed. We always recommend checking your specific local laws for any unique regulations.
Pedal assist means the motor provides a boost only when you are pedaling. It's like having a constant tailwind! You can usually select from multiple levels of assistance (e.g., Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo). At the lowest setting, you'll get a gentle boost for extra range, while the highest setting provides maximum power for tackling hills or accelerating quickly. You remain in complete control at all times.
